Designer
Inspired by Gastone Rinaldi
Gastone Rinaldi, born on November 16, 1920, in Padua, had a passion for both design and sports. He joined his father's metal furniture company, RIMA, in 1948 and collaborated with renowned designers like Gio Ponti and Marco Zanuso. Rinaldi's innovative chairs earned him recognition, including winning the Compasso d'Oro award in 1954. Later, he founded his own company, Thema, and continued to create acclaimed designs until his passing on March 2, 2006, in Padua.
