ICONIC GEOMETRIC HARMONY
In 1972, the Multi-Lite Pendant Lamp took form as a harmonious blend of three geometric shapes, distinguishing it from its contemporaneous Danish counterparts. The inner cylinders effectively guide the light in both upward and downward directions, while the adjustable quarter-spheres disperse the light, casting a soft, multi-directional glow. An outer ring securely anchors each element and gives the Multi-Lite its iconic halo-like silhouette.

Designer
Inspired by Louis Weisdorf
Louis Weisdorf (1932-2021) was a Danish architect and industrial designer known for iconic lamps like the Multi-Lite and Turbo. He also left his mark on Copenhagen's Tivoli amusement park. Many of his lamps follow Poul Henningsen's lighting principles. A notable feature of his designs is the use of identical elements, exemplified by his award-winning Turbo pendant. Louis Weisdorf also created the Fish concrete paving stone and established an independent architectural studio.
