INSPIRED DESIGN
The Heart Style Chair takes its name from its heart-shaped silhouette. The extended wings of the backrest are reminiscent of Mickey Mouse ears, but can also be interpreted as a contemporary development of the classic wingback chair.
EXCITING
Defying gravity, the chair was both futuristic and shocking, so much so that when it was exhibited in a shop window in New York City police had to order its removal due to the traffic chaos its presence created.
COMFORTABLE
The pointed base of the chair's cone shape is swivel-mounted on an aluminum base. In spite of its extravagant appearance, the chair is surprisingly comfortable.

Inspired by Verner Panton
DENMARK (February 13, 1926 - September 5, 1998) Drawing on his architectural background, Panton designed groundbreaking domestic living spaces, fusing floors, walls, furniture, lighting and textiles into wholly original and integrated interiors. Marked by Panton’s characteristic geometric shapes and intense colors, which were on the cutting edge of emerging psychedelic sensibilities, these spaces both typified his approach and sealed his legacy.
