Designer
Inspired by Antonio Citterioa
Antonio Citterio, an Italian architect, furniture designer, and industrial designer born in 1950 in Meda, resides and works in Milan. Graduating from Politecnico di Milano in 1972, he began his successful career as a designer and consultant. Collaborating with Terry Dwan from 1987 to 1996 on projects across Europe and Japan, he later founded "Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel" in 2000 with Patricia Viel, focusing on cross-disciplinary architecture and interior design. The firm operates internationally, delivering diverse projects with a network of specialized consultants. Antonio Citterio received the "Compasso d'Oro" prize in 1987 and 1994 and served as a professor of Architectural Design in Switzerland from 2006 to 2016. He was also honored with the title of "Honorary Royal Designer for Industry" by the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce of London in 2008.
